During the second performance of Urbania by Pascale Beaudin and the Orchestre de la Francophonie conducted by Jean-Philippe Tremblay in Ottawa, the National Arts Center has kindly given me the Queen's Lodge... with the company of Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II ! The proof in this video...
There was not only me and the Queen to listen to Urbania. A filled National Arts Center hall was also present and seems to have warmly welcomed the piece and the talent of Pascale and the Orchestra, without forgetting the conductor. A singer from the audience even already asked me for the score.
As a bonus, here are new excerpts: the lullaby from the beginning of Petite pousse and another excerpt from Crache le cash.
You like? The last chances to hear them are in Montreal on August 12th and at Domaine Forget on August 16th. Hurry up to buy the tickets!
A big thanks to the great welcome from the National Arts Center!
